The employees of WIANCO OTT Robotics GmbH from the Frankfurt / Darmstadt district were extremely happy and satisfied after EMMA was awarded the German Innovation Award 2020 in the "Excellence in Business to Business" category in the Electronic Technologies category. < / p>
More than 700 participants applied for the coveted title.
RPA - What is it?
As a measure of new digitization strategies, robot-supported process automation pursues the goal of automating time-consuming, repetitive activities with the help of robots (also known as bots) so that company employees can concentrate on the actual value-adding activities of the company.
Who gives the German Innovation Award?
Established as early as 1953 by the German Bundestag, the "German Design Council" honors cross-industry innovation achievements of international standing with the German Innovation Award, which differentiate themselves from other solutions in particular through user focus and enormous added value. The group of founders of the German Design Council currently includes more than 320 domestic and foreign companies that employ more than three million people.
The jury consists of independent, interdisciplinary experts from science, industry, institutions and the financial sector. The innovation strategy should take into account aspects of social, ecological, economic sustainability and the use of energy and resources.

What makes EMMA different from other RPA solutions?
EMMA differs from other RPA solutions in that it can be operated by skilled workers, while the other RPA tools require the use of software developers. In addition to the enormous cost savings, the risks that would arise in the transfer of know-how from skilled worker to programmer are eliminated.
